This week we sit down with Jennica Schwartzman a talented actress/producer/writer who shares with us just what it takes and what it means to be working multi-hyphenate in the crazy world of show business. Jennica leads the sex-trafficking crime drama RIDGE RUNNERS, winning top awards at its first 3 festivals, the social justice film is releasing in 2017. She follows and closely represents her films in the festival circuit. Jennica represented BEFORE THE LIGHTS COME UP, a dark music centered indie drama, as its romantic lead at its premiere festivals (winning the Best Narrative Film Award and Best of Fest Award) also releasing in 2017.
Her most recent release, GORDON FAMILY TREE, won 8 top awards at Film Fest Twain Harte, Big Bear Int’l Film Fest, & The Int’l Family Film Fest…. Jennica’s quirky scene stealing work led to her hilarious stint as the insatiable & flirty con-artist in the mockumentary BRICK MADNESS slated for 2018.
You can catch Jennica in a range of releases & characters including the party-focused LGBT+ supporting lead in HIDING IN THE OPEN (2012) and a budget-focused mother of 9 in the 1950’s period piece THE MEASURE OF A MAN (2011). after a few TV characters on ALL MY CHILDREN and THE REAL ROB, Jennica is excited to get back into the film festival circuit on PARKER’S ANCHOR- the leading role that is most close to her heart. Working on explorative character pieces is where her she wants to be- after, of course, raising her 2 kids with her loving and supportive husband in Hollywood.
